Kristina Peterson

I returned to Alaska following college and began my career in education with the Anchorage School District. I loved teaching at the elementary level and then moved into administration. My work took me to Lake Otis Elementary, Ocean View , Mountain View, Muldoon, Willow Crest and Rabbit Creek, which is a very diverse set of schools. I retired in 2023 and have been enjoying working part time gigs since. I've focused on exercising in the last ten years and love working out at Orangetheory Fitness so much that I currently work there at their front desk for my retirement job!

There are so many to choose from-hockey games, school spirit days, when friends ordered a gorilla to sing happy birthday to me in US History as a freshman, sneaking out to 7-11 for sugar snacks with my teacher's aide pass courtesy of Mr. Bell, lunches at Northway Mall, working at Squire Shop, and cruising around in the Prelude with the sunroof open listening to Madonna.
